Trabaja - Work and the Ghana/Brazil Game

My Dad says I have to work with him after we come back from the vacation. I have to work two days of the week and I still don't know what he's going to make me do. I just know I'll be paid and can put some money away in my bank account. I'm not a big people person so he's probably going to make me work with papers. Let's just hope I don't go blind. Tuesday's Ghana vs. Brazil game was sad. I watched it in it's entirety and I was disappointed. But I sort of guessed it too. I'm not Ghanean. You'd might think so but I'm not.

Vacations

I won't be here from July 10th to the 27th I think. I'm taking two vacations. One to Disneyworld in Florida and the other to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. I'm going to Disneyworld with my family and to Rehohoth with my friends. I've never been to either places so if anyone has anything to tell me, please do. I haven't been swimming in over two years so I don't know what to expect. I hope I can get used to the water again. I'm excited but scared to be going all over the place like this. We sort of did it last year and it was great but this year, since I've become more reclusive, I really don't know.

Tangerine

Wow, my guild has really picked up from a few days ago. I didn't think it was going to get this far but hey. We have a newsletter now.

German

Since Thursday, I've been teaching myself German using an old college textbook from the '70's. Sad thing is that the book is the second one in the series, not the first. German is tough but I'm trying. How do those Germans do it? The vowels themselves have two kinds of sounds- long and short. Then there are those diphthongs. Diphthongs are two vowel sounds put together. Like "au" is one of them. I haven't gotten too far in the book yet, but I wonder if learning this mysterious and infamously difficult language is worth my while?

America Vs. Ghana

On Thursday, Ghana beat the U.S. No one thought they were to win; the little team that could. But Ghana pulled through. Sorry America, but I rooted for Ghana. Soccer is seen as a "pansy" sport here in the US by some people and that's why I rooted for the underdogs. I think they needed the win more than America did. I'm worried about the next game vs Brazil. That one can mean a loss for Ghana.

Long Time Ago

Wow. I haven't posted anything new in more than a year. I remember telling myself I wasn't going to neglect this blog. I did though and for people who actually read this, I guess I'm sorry. I just recently got back into Neopets and made a guild with a girl named Brooke. She's so great, it's just that she hasn't been online for days. Hey Brooke! If you read this please come help out with the guild. I'm also thinking of putting a radio blog player with this blog. I'll put all of my most listened to songs for your listening pleasure, ok? ;0) I wish I had Paintshop Pro again. Also I really want to join soccer. I want to join a soccer team! You wanna see other things I want to do? Go to 43 things then. It's a cool website. Try it. Also, Who's watching the World Cup? I am. Who are you rooting for? Tell me!!!!!
